Global Event 2024 in Egypt – A look back

In fall 2024, Christian Kitesurfers held their 3rd annual global gathering in Hurghada, Egypt, uniting believers and kitesurfers from around the world.

Previous gatherings in Sri Lanka and Naxos were marked by a deep sense of belonging, encouragement, and God’s presence, eclipsing even the kitesurfing. Egypt, with its perfect wind, flat water, beachfront launch, and warm hospitality, raised the question: could God’s presence still shine amid such incredible kiting? The answer: absolutely.

From the first evening, the Holy Spirit moved powerfully, breaking strongholds and bringing freedom. The week was a transformative time of God setting people free from what hindered their walk with Christ.

The kiting didn’t disappoint either—new tricks, personal bests, and a supportive community on the water. But, as in Sri Lanka and Naxos, it was the wind of the Holy Spirit that made this gathering truly unforgettable.
