In 2022, Christian Kitesurfers worldwide gathered for the inaugural “Global Launch Event” in Sri Lanka, enjoying kitesurfing, fellowship, teaching, prayer at the beach and serving in the local cummunity. The following year, we gathered in Naxos, Greece, featuring enriching sessions on and off the water, including study, prayer, worship and great kiting.

THIS YEAR, on September 28, 2024, Christian Kitesurfers will reconvene for the third annual Global Gathering at Seahorse Bay, Egypt. Anticipate a lifechanging week of kiting, worship, fellowship, faith growth, and service in the private ‘Home Sweet Home’ accommodation on the Red Sea beach front.

Kitespot – Seahorse Bay, Egypt

The event will take place on the beautiful kitesurfing spot at Seahorse Bay in Egypt. Seahorse Bay is located between Hurghada and El Gouna and offers perfect conditions for beginners and pro’s alike.

The bay and beach are mostly sandy, with occasional stones, shells, and corals. It’s recommended to wear booties.

Accommodation – Sweet Home Egypt

Sweet Home Egypt is a quiet hotel for up to 22 people directly on the kite spot. All rooms have sea views, a small terrace and a double bed or two single beds.

The breakfast is available as buffet, lunch can be chosen from the menu (included with full board) and dinner is either served as a 5-course menu or is available as a rich buffet selection.

Full board in a double room: 475 Euro
Half board in a double room: 425 Euro
Full board in a double room for single use: 730 Euro
Half board in a double room for single use: 640 Euro

Kitesurf courses and gear

Ibi & Friends Kite Club Seahorse Bay offers lessons and gear rental. Please inform us with your booking if you need their service, so we can inform them. Their availability may be limited. The earlier you reserve, the better.

Flight and transfer

Book your own flight to Hurghada airport, approximately a 30-minute drive from Sweet Home. Transfer from the airport to Sweet Home is included in the room rate; provide your arrival details for arrangements.
